Safe & Calm

All of us have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

I missed being able to offer you the face to face treatments you love, and I am l pleased to meet with you again in the treatment room.

For my therapy practice, maintaining a high standard of hygiene has always been a priority before, during and following treatments.  This has not changed, however my priority is also to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of.

I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by VTCT, the awarding body of my reflexology qualification and I have since made a number of changes in the way that I operate.

Booking Appointments

If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and not provide treatments. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice.  I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 – please advise me as soon as possible and DO NOT COME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. You will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness.  If you are due to have an injection please leave 3 days post injection before you attend for reflexology.

Visiting me for treatment

My priority is to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

If you have any concerns about your treatments please let me know.

  • I would ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible.
  • All surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.
  • The room is cleaned and aired between treatments.
  • As always I maintain a high level of hygiene in my treatment room: all facial reflex tools are disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety.
  • As soon as you arrive I will have hand sanitiser available for you to use before your treatment
  • I can confirm that the laundering of my towels and uniforms is a priority and I can assure you that all the laundry following treatment is washed at 60 degrees C
  • All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between each client.

My treatments

I have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide both foot and facial reflexology safely.  Although this is subject to change and government /association guidance will be strictly adhered to.

During your treatment

I understand the importance of hand hygiene and will ensure that I wash my hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.

Whilst face coverings are no longer required by law, you are welcome to wear a face covering or remove it as you wish.   I would ask you to remove the mask for facial treatments.

After the treatment

You may pay by cash, Paypal or bank transfers.

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

Thanks you for your understanding.
